The mission being to produce films and television that is competitive on a global stage. Bringing Africa to the forefront of animation, while creating capacity for jobs and other commercial opportunities.

Founder Ada Labs Africa

JOHN KAMARA

"We are excited about the Ada Animation Bootcamp that sets us off on our mission to groom and grow animators through mentorship and in turn, build a dynamic animation industry for the African youth. It’s about time we fabricated a platform that encourages young creatives to create more than they consume in the world skills market.
We want the world to read our stories written by our pens from our realities and perspectives. In a few years to come, the world will watch movies made from our imagination, and the world will visualize color and creativity born from our culture."

Ada Animation, Director

JOY MWANGI

"Ada Animation, an innovative African animation hub, has partnered with animation course teaching institutions like United States International University Africa (USIU) and ADMI to bridge the skill gap of creatives, around the animation field in Kenya, across Africa and the world. The boot camp aims to mentor, train and upskill animation students by connecting them with globally renowned experts who will sit as Bootcamp mentors. This will offer a fusion of interactive training experiences, that will sharpen the boot campers' skills and ignite their ability to create world-class content. Furthermore, Ada Animation will allow the boot campers to tell compelling African stories to Africa, and the rest of the world."

ANIMATION LECTURER – USIU AFRICA

EMILY NYABERE

"This animation Bootcamp is a perfect opportunity that brings together students, industry practitioners, and educators, bridging the gap between academia and industry. Our students will be exposed to both the local and international scope of the industry. The teamwork exhibited through this program will definitely establish a platform for networking and collaboration opportunities, providing our students with social and project management skills essential in any work environment ."
